A shared vision: From Seed to Plate

Since 2016, Dans le Noir ? Paris has been a founding partner of the Ferme de l'Envol, a revolutionary project located on the former Air Force Base 217 in the south of the Île-de-France region. With 75 hectares dedicated to agroecology, this innovative project has agricultural, social and environmental ambitions that are close to our hearts.

Why did we choose to get involved in this exciting project? The answer is simple. Like us, Ferme de l'Envol believes in sustainable agriculture that respects the environment and people. Together, we want to prove that change is not only possible, but also achievable on a large scale.

The 4 Pillars of a Sustainable Future

  1. Generational Renewal: For sustainable agriculture to be possible, the next generation must be involved and passionate. One of the objectives of Ferme de l'Envol is to inspire young people to become farmers.
  2. Agroecology: It's not just a buzzword, but a practical philosophy. With a sustainable approach that respects the environment, Ferme de l'Envol embodies the principles of tomorrow's agriculture.
  3. Circuits Courts: Vegetables, bread, eggs, honey, cheese... Everything produced at Ferme de l'Envol aims to feed the local population in a healthy, balanced way, and to supply the project's partner restaurateurs, which include Dans le Noir ? Paris.
  4. Innovative governance: The project is testing horizontal and cooperative forms of management, placing farmers and citizens at the heart of its vision.
